COMMUNITY EVENTS

Suite Four is proud to partner with content creators & curators from around the state to bring social events to The Triangle community each month.

October 18-23

HBCU Week

OCTOBER 18, 5-7PM in The Loft
OCTOBER 19, 5-7PM in The Warehouse
OCTOBER 20, 6-8PM in The Warehouse
OCTOBER 21, 5-10PM on The Patio

Join us to celebrate HBCUs during North Carolina's Countdown to College Application Week! Presented by Virtue Events, we are partnering with Durham Success Summit, APlus Test Prep, and Knox St. Studios to bring HBCU Week to Suite Four. We have four unique events planned for the week - all curated by Black-Owned Businesses - with something for everyone! Events feature a powerful talk with an HBCU historian, college prep essentials for youth (with free pizza!), a special edition of our Smolder & Spirits Cigar Night, and a career pathways workshop. You don’t want to miss it!

NC Countdown to College is a great opportunity for students that are ready to apply for college to get their applications in, as most universities around the state waive application fees during the third week of October (including NCCU, NCAT, Saint Augustine, & Shaw!). To support that, Durham Success Summit has offered to review college essays and resumes for anyone who drops them off during the week. Take advantage of this special opportunity by attending our College Prep Essentials on October 19th!

All events are free and open to the public! Details for each event are available at the HBCU Week page on our site - link below.
